Whitlock Advisory was founded on a clear realization: during my years in national tax leadership at major firms, I saw firsthand how an “ivory tower” environment can unintentionally distance elite technical expertise from the small business owners and frontline advisors who need it most. I also observed a widening divide within the accounting and advisory profession—a growing gap between the capabilities of the Top 10 firms and the tools, technology, and insights available to everyone else.
Too often, advanced technology and thought leadership are designed for the highest-paying customers, leaving many highly capable advisors and small businesses underserved or priced out. At the same time, the average business owner is expected to compete in an increasingly complex marketplace without access to the same caliber of resources available to Fortune 500 companies.
